Rädlinger Maschinen- und Stahlbau GmbH produces its future excavator buckets for the classes MS 01, MS 03 and MS 08 with the Radlog interface as standard. "The interface gives the operator of the excavator more flexibility", Benjamin Schraml, Head of Sales Construction Machine Equipment at Rädlinger, explains the advantage of the system.
The Radlog interface is composed of two opposite shafts, both of which are equipped with the elements necessary for locking the quick coupler. This allows picking up a digging bucket turned by 180 degrees with the quick coupler and using it as a high bucket. This opens up a multitude of additional fields of applications.
To date, the configuration with Radlog was associated with a price premium for end customers. Through standardisation this price drops considerably. It also gives Rädlinger an advantage: "That way we are able to reduce our product variants. Thereby we can expand our inventroy in a focussed manner and in the future it is possible for us, to keep all standard products in stock and deliver them rapidly", states Schraml. An advantage that ultimately benefits the end customer.
